I find it very rewarding to surf the 'net and find wonderfully done home pages. It is obvious to me that the web masters/mistresses who create them
work extremely hard, and I wish to give them credit for all their hours of hard work. BUT...my preference goes to the sites where creativity and originality have been favored.
You should not apply for my award if: 1. Your site is under construction 2. You do not respect the golden rules for crediting all the material you are using. Credits must be on each page where you use graphics. 3. If you use java everywhere and for everything, as well as LAKE applet, alert scripts, anything that asks me what my name is, those scrolling java tags in MY status bar, the flashing color intros, ANYTHING that makes my system crash. 4. If the navigation is not easy or messy. 5. If the loading of the pages is too long. 6. If the content of your pages promotes hatred, racism, or illegal activities, this includes but is not limited to instructions for bomb making, hacking, child exploitation and/or child pornography, pirating, murder, etc. If you haven't got any response after 4 weeks.....it means that you didn't win my award!
