Transparent Gif done with PSP 6 & 7
If you want to add texts or graphics on a tile background you will have to save your graphics with a transparent background. 1. When you create your text, you must choose a background color of the same color than your tile background and keep that color in the background of the foreground/background window.  2. Write your text down and add a thin shadow (thick shadow doesn't work very well with transparency).  3. When your graphic is ready to be saved, go to File---> Export--->Gif Optimizer (in PSP 6 the name is Transparent Gif)  a window will open |
